PTT Lubricants has more than 40 years of experience in lubricant manufacturing and sales. Since 2018, its lubricant business has been operated by PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (OR), part of the PTT Group.

The manufacturer integrates its processes from raw material procurement and production planning through manufacturing and distribution, with in-house formulation development. Its range includes automotive engine oils, transmission fluids, industrial lubricants and OEM lubricants supplied to vehicle manufacturers.

  1. 1978–1990

The Beginning of the Lubricant Business

PTT began selling lubricants under the Three Soldiers brand in 1978, marking the start of its lubricant business.

  2. 1991–2003

    Building Research, Production & Service

Formulations were developed by PTT's research and technology institute. The TLBC lubricant plant was established in 1997, and distribution expanded through PROCheck oil-change service centres.

  3. 2004–2014

    From Thailand to International Markets

PTT became an OEM supplier to vehicle brands, made its first export to Laos in 2004, became a leader in Thailand's lubricant market in 2009 and launched FIT Auto vehicle services in 2014.

  4. 2014–2018

    Production Upgrades & Regional Expansion

Automation and robotics were introduced, sales expanded across ASEAN, and lubricants were developed for different industries. New packaging reduced virgin plastic use by 8–12%.

  5. 2018–Present

    Brand Development under OR

OR was established in 2018 and took over the lubricant business. During this period, distribution centres were added, EVOTEC lubricant technology was introduced, international markets expanded to more than 40 countries, and PROCheck became FIT Express.
